Five Little Things

Happy weekend, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying a little rest and relaxation this weekend. One of the things I have really appreciated this week is the sun – as we near a year of pandemic lockdown and daily walks with my daughter, the hills around us have returned to their vibrant green, with the gorgeous mustard in bloom. My allergies don’t appreciate it, but I certainly am thankful for such beautiful surroundings. It is a reminder to me to appreciate the seasons — and even when this is all behind us, whenever that might be — to always spend a little bit of each day outdoors.

Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:

1. Cool Treats

We’ve been enjoying some beautiful sunny days lately, so I’ve been reaching for in the freezer for these something refreshing! I was excited to partner with my friends at Noosa to make these Strawberry Honey Chia Yoghurt Popsicles that I shared on Instagram!

2. More Julia to Binge

Word is that HBO Max has ordered a new series on the life of Julia Child! I’ll be eagerly awaiting this drama!

3. Ten Meter Tower

In 2017, the Swedish film, Ten Meter Tower, appeared at the Sundance Film Festival. I haven’t watched the film, but this clip is so mesmerizing, it has me wondering, “would I jump?” Would you?

4. Stories from the Freeze

I hope those of you who were affected by the winter storms are doing well. I’ve been hearing some positive stories, and I especially loved the story of the delivery driver who found a warm and homey place to so stay when her truck crashed at just the right house.

5. Kindness

It’s amazing how kindness can be wonderfully contagious. It’s good for both you and me.
