Rhubarb is one of the Five Little Things I loved the week of April 15, 2016.

Five little things I loved this week:

1. Rhubarb Season!

Rhubarb is here and I’m thinking up all kinds of lovely things to make. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, you must try the easy rhubarb cake that made me fall in love with rhubarb in the first place. After that, there’s Coconut Tapioca Pudding with Strawberry Rhubarb Compote, Stovetop Rhubarb-Cherry Crisp and Rhubarb Scones.

2. Bookmarked: Palak Paneer

One of my favorite Indian foods is Palak Paneer, and I have been on the quest for a good recipe. This recipe on Food52 is on my must-try list.

3. Cubanos, Rolled Up

You know I love a good cubano, right? Remember my Cuban Breakfast Sandwich? Well, these Cuban Sandwich Egg Rolls are my idea of a very tasty idea.

4. Inside James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke

By now you already know I’ve been a huge fan of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke since the beginning. I just loved this interview with Katie Couric that gives us a little more insight into this hilarious bit!

5. Face Swapping Grandma

My daughter always get a good laugh over face swapping. Have you tried it? What’s even funnier is this grandma’s reaction!

Happy weekend, everyone!

  1. kate @ tasty seasons

Re #2:  I just tried that Palak Paneer recipe for dinner tonight.  The spices are delicious so she may have nailed “tastiest” but I think “easiest” remains elusive…  Worth a try though (when you have some time set aside)!

Did you!? I plan to try it next week for sure – good to know, I’ll set aside a little extra time. Thanks, Kate!
