Five little things I loved this week:

Camping

I’m sitting on my bunk, reliving my camp counselor days. I’m living out of a small bag, sharing a bathroom with a gaggle of girls, my day mapped out with hikes and games and a little free time. This time, however, I’m not a counselor with the cool whistle, I’m a mom chaperone, and my daughter and I are with her fourth grade class, transported in time to California’s gold rush days. We’ve been panning for gold, hoping to strike it rich!

Hiking

I’ve been itching to go for a hike, and my neglected hiking boots finally had a chance to get some new dirt. Once you get past the monster mosquitoes, it’s so beautiful.

QT with My Little Girl

The best part of this camping experience is spending time with my (not so) little girl. Just loving this extra time together! I’m so thankful to be here with her.

Instant Iced Coffee

Alright, let’s talk camping priorities. The one thing I need to be a happy camper is my coffee, so I decided to give the Starbucks VIA Instant Iced Coffee a try. It’s basically instant iced coffee, just add water. And you know what, it’s not bad. This sleep deprived mama is caffeinated and content.

Guitar App

I’m ready to sing Kumbaya around the campfire with this super fun guitar app by Smule. I’m not one for downloading games, but it’s a fun one!
