Five Little Things

Five little things I loved this week (brought to you by the letter T):

1. Tea

Afternoon tea is a ritual I personally love – that cup is something I look forward to every day! But after being spoiled with high tea while on vacation last week, my version of afternoon tea pales in comparison. I wish every day could involve tiers of delicious bites! This is just one of several tasty tastes that I can’t wait to share with you from our recent trip to Hong Kong.

2. Ten Years

After our visit, I am intrigued by the movie Ten Years, which is an independent film that imagines what life in Hong Kong will be like in 2025. I have added to my movie watch-list.

3. Twinning

I’ve always been in awe of that special bond between twins, but these two twin sisters who gave birth at the same exact time takes the cake! I can imagine all the fun birthday celebrations they have in store for those precious cousins!

4. Tacos

One of the first things my kids asked for upon returning home were tacos. I guess that’s what you crave after a week of dumplings and noodles! They love “old fashioned” American tacos – especially this recipe from Alton Brown, but my husband and I are partial to Fish Tacos with Avocado-Cilantro Sauce!

5. Tricks and Pranks

Despite the not so subtle makeup, I still found this prank by Thrillist to be highly amusing! Kinda makes me want to lift some weights…

Wishing you a terrific weekend, everyone!

  1. Anthony

Your five little things are pretty, simple, make me smile.
Everyday morning I wake up with a cup of coffee and for weekend, it is amazing to enjoy tea. Independent movies are my (and my partner) favorite, will try Ten Years as your suggestion.
Thanks for sharing little but nice things in busy life!
