As I close the door on the last 72 hours of holiday frenzy, I am exhausted…and very, very content. All the baking, the wrapping, the cooking, the delivering, the early rising, the excitement of my children as they delighted in giving one another presents, the pup playing in the boxes, the washing of every single baking sheet I possibly own, the new toy playing, the glasses of cheer, the toasts to Christmas — all of it — was worth every minute. I hope you and yours are feeling the spirit of the holidays, and I want to thank you so much for joining me here, for letting my family’s stories and the food I share into your life. Hi Sarah! Happy New Year! This was a brioche ring I made, based on the brioche dough from Artisan Bread in 5. It’s studded with currants. I hope to share how I made it soon, but in the meantime, do check out Zoë François’s recipe – it’s such a good dough. I hope this helps!!
