Spiced Nuts - this savory roasted nuts recipe for sweet and spicy nuts are perfect for snacking, with glass of wine, sprinkled on a salad, and holiday gifting!
Preheat the oven to 325°F with a wire rack placed in the center of the oven. Line a quarter sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Stir the nuts in a medium bowl.
Add the oil, maple syrup, rosemary, thyme, brown sugar, chipotle pepper, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, cinnamon, cumin, and cayenne pepper to the nut and stir well to combine until the nuts are evenly coated.
Spread on a parchment-lined quarter sheet pan and place in the oven. Roast for about 15-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep a close eye on the nuts at the 15 minute mark, as they can quickly get too dark.
When the nuts are golden and toasted, remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt. Let it cool completely.
Break apart any clumps and transfer to clean glass jars for storage. Enjoy!
