Split fresh juicy pears in half and stuff them with an easy crumble mixture to create Stuffed Pear Crisp. Less slicing, less dicing, and the individual servings are ready to go—perfect for entertaining.
In a small bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Using a pastry cutter, fork, two knifes, or your fingers, cut the butter into the flour mixture until you have coarse crumbs. This can also be completed in the bowl of a food processor. Add the oats, pecans, and cinnamon, and stir. Pinch the crumbs together so you have large chunks.
Scoop the topping into the pears, and arrange in a baking dish. Bake for about 35 minutes or until the crisp topping is golden, and the pears are tender when pierced with a toothpick.
Serve while warm with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel, if desired.
