I have been making your banana bread for a number of years now. I have 4 loafs in my oven right now actually! Hands down the best recipe I’ve come across.

– Preheat oven and prepare two loaf pans by buttering and lining with parchment paper. - Sift or whisk flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add pecans if using, set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream sugar, and butter. Mix in eggs, then add the bananas.
- Add dry ingredients and buttermilk, alternating until incorporated.
- Transfer to prepared loaf pans. Bake until the loaves are golden, firm to the touch, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
