Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of March 20, 2026: landscape in glass, a BART baby, back to print, and more!
I can’t believe it’s Friday again! This week just flew by. I kicked it off by devoting a day as a volunteer at an amazing cause; I plan on working with them more each month, and in time, I will share more with you. It is such a good reminder that there are wonderful opportunities to build community and to share our talents for something good.
Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:
1. Peace and Reflection
Nature is really showing off in then Bay Area, and I just love how there are so many places that we can retreat to find peace. The majestic California oaks are starting to build their canopies, and the I found it the perfect place to pause and reflect. I hope you are enjoying the beauty of spring, too!
2. Landscape in Glass
I love the history behind the Tiffany “Garden Landscape” Window, and how it has found its new home.
3. BART Baby
Here in the Bay Area, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is the public transportation for many commuters. I love this adorable BART baby story!
4. Back to Print
Do you remember when you last read a book? I have made a concerted effort to go back to my ways of devouring books — I remember as a little girl, and later as a young professional, it seemed that everyone read. We read at the beach, we read on the plane, we read on the subway. Books, newspapers, and magazines, have been replaced by infinite scrolls, and I want to change that. Will you join me? I’m currently enjoying These is My Words: The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine, 1881-1901 by Nancy Turner. What a gem!
5. When Gas Prices Rise
Ride a Toyota Cow-rolla? It’s well over $6 and $7 a gallon here, so she’s on to something!
Stay joyful!
