Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of February 28, 2026: happy tears, a talented pint-sized photographer, jokes with a point, and more!
Hello dear friends! After several weekends away from home, I am looking forward to enjoying a quiet weekend back at home. And since I spent the week focusing on my dreaded tax paperwork, now that it has been sent to the accountant, I can breathe a sigh of relief and relax! To get through the week, I cooked very simply, making Sole Meunière and Slow Cooker Bánh Mì Vietnamese Sandwiches.
Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:
1. Joyous Tears
We visited our daughter last weekend to watch her in a very special performance, and founded ourselves in joyous tears during the curtain call! It is such a joy watching our children pursue their passions!
2. A Sneak Peek at Summer
After so many days of gloomy rain, the sun has graced us with its presence! It feels like summer right now!
3. A Charming Little Photographer
This darling pint-sized photographer is so talented!
4. Little Bright Spots
If you ever run into problems, it’s always best to find the bright spots, like in this instance with esteemed musician, André Rieu.
5. Jokes with a Point
I love a good dad joke! Here are a few to celebrate the weekend with a laugh!
Stay joyful!
