Five Little Things

Hello, friends! It’s been a while. I indulged in a long break after the holidays, mostly from social media and the Five Little Things series, but I’ve still been paying lots of attention to everything behind the scenes. I’m sure you can relate – taking a total break is impossible! But now that February is here, I feel refreshed and have so much planned to share with you!

Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:

1. Plant-Forward Favorites

My husband has returned to embracing vegan food, which has been a perfect excuse to revisit some of our favorite plant-forward favorites. We’ve been enjoying my, Vegan Chili: Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili, Tri-Color Cauliflower Salad, and Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms with Garlicky Kale, to name a few!

2. A New Podcast Season

After a little break, the Kitchen Confidante Podcast is back for the newest season! In Episode 90, I sit down with Brian Brigantti of Red Leaf Ranch, who shares his incredible journey from urbanite to green-thumbed guru. Brian’s story is not just about growing delicious food; it’s about cultivating happiness and abundance. Whether you’re looking to start your first garden or refine your green thumb, this episode is packed with wisdom that transcends the soil.

3. Rainbows

With all the rain that California has gratefully received recently, we have been blessed by some beautiful rainbows lately. Between the stunning colors and the brilliant green hills, it has been beautiful.

4. Sibling Love

If this doesn’t make your heart melt, I don’t know what else to do. Check out what happens when @halesmoore children meet their newest sibling.

5. Eternal Flame

I happened upon Kelly Clarkson’s cover of “Eternal Flame” by The Bangles, and it took my breath away. Her voice sounds the healthiest it has in a while, and I love her version!

Stay joyful!
