Five Little Things

This week I’ve been on the road on-and-off, and I’m currently writing this from the car! So I’ll keep things short and sweet. I hope you’ve been well!

Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:

1. Desert Beauty

Every February, we spend some time in Arizona, supporting our son in his athletic pursuits. This particular visit, we had a little extra time to enjoy some of the beautiful sunshine, and the beauty of the desert was really strong during this trip. It was a a nice break before returning to the torrential rains in California.

2. Dessert Beauty

The homophone dessert was also so wonderful this week! I shared two new recipes recently: Ube Crinkle Cookies and Coconut Chocolate Pudding – have you checked them out yet? I also sent a care package of simple Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies to my daughter and brought cookie dough to bake in Arizona for my son! It was a sweet week!

3. Time with Our Children

Back to back weekends with each of our kids – what a treat! We’re now on our way to visit our daughter and watch her very special performance! Any time we can watch her sing is a joy.

4. Olympic Frenzy

Have you been enjoying the Milano-Cortina olympics? I’ve been trying to keep up as much as possible — and loving it! The hard part is avoiding social media spoilers!

5. Kitchen Olympics

Speaking of the Olympics and social media, I get a good chuckle from creators who are having fun with it!
