Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of October 21, 2022: Halloween treats, a big audition, bread sculptures, and more!
Hi everyone. I hope you’re doing well. This week I had the fun of having my brother in town, so it was nice to have that time with him! And, all of a sudden, Halloween seems real. Are you starting to get into the spooky spirit? I have a new treat on the blog to help you with that!
Here are Five Little Things I loved this week:
1. Chocolate
Chocolate gets a spooky, but wholesome, twist in my latest recipe, perfect for Halloween! I made these Halloween Dirt Cups with Avocado Chocolate Pudding with my friends at Calavo Growers – so fun! To help you get in the Halloween spirit, check out Calavo’s giveaway for the chance to win a Mud Pie Halloween Chip & Dip Bowl, Mud Pie Ghost Ramekin Set, a $25 Visa Gift Card, and a bundle of Calavo’s products. The giveaway ends on 10/23!
2. Trying Broadway
Of all the antics the Try Guys have done, this might be my favorite. Check out how they auditioned for a spot on the Broadway show, Beetlejuice, followed by the performance!
3. Pan Solo
The talented bread artists at One House Bakery in Benicia, CA are back with their entry to the town’s Scarecrow Contest. This time they created “Pan Solo,” all out of bread!
4. Thanksgiving Planning
It’s never too early to start planning!
5. Costumes with Grandma
Ross Smith and his 93-year-old grandma are too cute. Which one is your favorite?
Stay joyful!
