Giveaway | Let's Get Pickled

Who’s ready to pucker up?

I am very excited to offer you a fantastic giveaway. Do you remember the Fireworks Pasta Salad from just a few weeks ago? One of the ingredients that gave that modern take on macaroni salad its extra spice and crunch were the exceptional pickles from the very newly launched Let’s Get Pickled. The wonderful folks at Let’s Get Pickled have for you a generous assortment of lip smacking goodies. Just look at this basket – there’s enough pickles in here to keep your mouth puckered for a very long time!

One randomly selected winner will receive a basket of the following:

  • Mixed Vegetables in Brine (16 oz)
  • Garlic with Chili Peppers (16 oz)
  • Pearl Onions Marinated in Champagne Vinegar (16 oz)

Definitely nay on the straight up pickle juice, but I’d certainly use it in a cocktail! Bloody Mary’s or Martini’s? Heck yeah. Those pickles and all the other fun pickled veggies look AMAZING!

Absolutely drink a little pickle juice! Any Russian will recommend it as a cleanser after a vodka shot (bite of a pickle suffices as well). As Mindy suggests, pickle juice is also an excellent variation for a dirty martini.

Drinking pickle juice? Yay! I discovered that if you do not have olive juice you can make a fine dirty martini using pickle juice. Don’t ask how I discovered it…

Also, following on Twitter. I love all things pickled.

I once drank pickle juice, as a chaser for whiskey. Don’t ask me why.

I’m currently a nay just because I’ve never tried drinking pickle juice. I could be swayed to try drinking it. I’ve heard of hard core athletes drinking it to keep them hydrated.

Would I drink pickle juice? Well, of course I’d give it a try if it was from a legitimate pickling process, like these. If it was coming out of a jar of Vlassic, I’d probably pass, much as I love pickles.
