Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of April 28, 2018: chocolate mousse, gardening hacks, and more!
Happy weekend, friends! Today’s Five Little Things comes to you one day later than usual — but I hope you’re having a great start to your weekend! For us, it will be a busy one – our final hours of fun before we say farewell to our exchange student, and celebrating my hubby’s birthday!
Without further ado, here are Five Little Things I loved this week:
1. Cheat’s Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse
Chocolate. Hazelnut. These two words go together like peanut butter and jelly. And one of the easiest recipes on my site involves chocolate hazelnut spread and a little secret ingredient that makes the easiest Cheat’s Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse — all you need are three ingredients and 5 minutes, and you’re on your way to chilling the silkiest dessert ever! I made a new video just to show you how simple it is!
2. Gardening Hacks
Remember how I told you we want to start a garden? Well, we finally took some first steps and brought home some tomato plants! Crossing fingers they grow and thrive under our care. I thought these gardening hacks were quite timely.
3. Spring Around the World!
Speaking of gardening, it finally feels like spring — or at least I hope it does wherever you are. I loved this little peek at spring in full bloom around the world.
4. Corny Filipino Jokes
Growing up, I was surrounded by funny uncles who always had corny Filipino jokes up their sleeve. So this Houston restaurant has me chuckling…how many puns do you get?
5. A Facebook Free Life?
Ah Facebook, can’t live with it…can’t live without it?
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
