Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of May 6, 2016 including a birthday treat, breath-taking view, and a brilliant musical arrangement.
Five little things I loved this week:
1. Indulgence
Celebrating my husband’s birthday guarantees one thing: there will be cheesecake. Admittedly, my hubby and I are the only ones in the family who adore cheesecake (how did our children not inherit the cheesecake-loving gene?), so that meant a week of cheesecake! Despite this, we did not tire of it – in fact, there was a little sadness when the very last piece disappeared. Till next year, cheesecake, till next year.
2. Golden Hour
Being surrounded by so much beauty – I never tire of this view:
3. Prince-ly Eats
This piece from one of Prince’s former private chefs was a fascinating read.
4. First Impressions
We all know how important it is to make the first impression. But when it comes to Dana Carvey, I could listen to him impersonate all day long! I can not wait for his new show!
5. May the 4th Be With You: Acapella Style
Little known fact: I used to sing in an acappella group in college, which means I’m a sucker for brilliant arrangements. And with the 4th this week, I had to revisit this bit of brilliance!
Wishing you a stellar weekend, everyone!
