After a week that can be classified as “PC” (Pretty Crappy), finding Five Little Things I loved may seem challenging. But these are the weeks that I dig a little deeper and find that there is always something for which to be thankful.

Five little things I loved this week:

1. My Husband

My husband, my rock, my partner in life. If you’re reading this, all I can say is thank you.

2. Yoga

I had several moments this week where I was able to squeeze in yoga practice, and I am determined to make it part of my life forever. Those little snippets of quiet, of centering, and just focusing on myself and each breath added hours to each day.

3. Work

I’ve been busy in and out of the kitchen, and for this, I am so grateful. Having such fun projects that I can share with you keeps me going!

4. Halloween Treats

I nearly forgot to buy candy. The last two weeks have been consumed by some life changes that I will be able share with you soon, but in the flurry of activity, I nearly forgot to buy the treats for the trick or treaters tonight! I can’t wait to dig into some Twix and Kit Kats! What treats do you love best?

5. Not So Scary Halloween Facts

Did you know Candy Corn used to be called Chicken Feed? Yup! Check out this and 25 more Not-So-Scary Facts About Halloween on Mental Floss.

Have a spooktacular Halloween, everyone! Here’s to a good end to the week!

Cheers to you for maintaining a positive attitude during a tough period.  :) I hope the weekend and the next week bring sunshine to your days. I had a PC previous two weeks so I can relate. I lovingly call these times growing opportunities now. :)

Drat these PC weeks, Jean! Sorry to hear you had a rough couple of weeks, too. I’m so glad to hear that things are better now – here’s to enjoying what matters most!
