Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of February 22, 2019: playing with food, first day feels, being human, and more!
If things seemed a little quiet on the blog (and social media) front lately, it’s because this week I entered the Black Hole of Taxes and finally emerged yesterday afternoon. I feel like someone who hasn’t seen daylight in weeks, haha! Sigh, if you have any tips to make this process any less painful, I’m all ears. Thank goodness for Five Little Things I loved this week to get me through it!
1. Lobster
The good thing about lobster in my house is it means I have help in the kitchen! My hubby and son always take over the cooking and breaking down of the shellfish, which is such a treat. We revisited my Lobster Corn Chowder (again), which was much needed for the bitter cold weather!
2. Playing with Food
UK based visual artist Helga Stentzel plays with her food, and in a good way!
3. Happy Little Trees…You Can Lick
Speaking of playing with food, I love how YouTuber Rosanna Ponsino Bob Ross Painting Out of Frosting. She did an amazing job!
4. First Day Feels
When your first day of work is too good to be true! Did you hear the story about the guy whose first day of work goes hilariously wrong?

5. Gordon is Human
There’s something oddly comforting and utterly disgusting in seeing Gordon sweat in the kitchen. Nice to know he’s human, after all!
On that note, I hope you’re not sweating too much…whether it’s over taxes or cooking…and have a relaxing weekend!
