Five Little Things
Five Little Things I loved the week of July 13, 2019: fruit crisps, little hugs, goosebumps, and more!
Happy weekend, friends! I have been hard at work on some behind the scenes stuff with this site — all the boring nuts and bolts maintenance stuff that are not exactly fun to share, but are critical to running a website. I won’t bore you with the details, but hey, I’ve got Five Little Things that are much fun!!
I do have a question for you: do you enjoy the stories I share with each recipe? I personally love the inspiration behind a dish, especially when it is a family favorite, but I know others would rather just skip to the recipe in a blog post. Tell me, what’s your preference?
Which reminds me, let’s skip to this week’s Five Little Things:
1. Fruit Crisps
This is the time of year when all I want is a cozy fruit crisp with a scoop of ice cream. The Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp I shared earlier this week is just the tip of the iceberg…I’ve been revisiting some old favorites and reshooting them for you! What’s your favorite crisp to make?
2. Hug Patrol
What a darling little officer!
3. Dose of Perspective
For these future doctors, special training around the globe offers them a dose of perspective that I wish all physicians could have.
4. Oven Cleaning Trick?
My oven is waaaay overdue for a deep clean. Have you tried this oven cleaning hack?
5. Goosebumps
When I am especially moved by incredible vocals, my arms tingle with goosebumps. And I had goosebumps when I saw this special little guy’s audition. I can’t wait to see more from him.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
