I couldn’t stop at five! So let’s have an even number shall we? Six things I loved this week:
1. Holiday Favorites
Cookie season wouldn’t be the same without Pizzelle. These bring me back to my childhood in New York and my sweet neighbors! I made a batch when we had friends over last weekend – such a treat for sleepovers, too!
Other old favorites I’ve been loving this week:
Gingerbread Belgian Waffles – breakfast becomes instantly festive!
Roasted Chestnuts – Nostalgia hits hard when I roast chestnuts during the holidays
Baked Caramel Corn – We love making big batches of this and sharing with teachers and friends!
2. Getting Things Done
With the laundry list of holiday to-dos, not to mention all the year-end randomness, I really loved this week’s The Chopped Podcast on Getting Things Done.
3. Puppy love
I had this to look at all week. Good thing he’s a cutie, because boy, having a puppy is a lot of work!
4. Elf on the Shelf, Cute Baby Edition
We have two elves on the shelf that visit us each night, but that doesn’t compare to the adorableness that That Dad Blog has going on at his house! See how Alan Lawrence turns his 4-month old cutie into an Elf on the Shelf!
5. Face Swap!
You HAVE to download this app. My daughter and I have so much fun swapping faces with each other!
6. JOY to the World!
If this doesn’t get you in the joyful mood, I don’t know what else will!
Wishing you a joyful weekend, everyone!
