As the year winds down to a close, I thought it would be fun to bid 2014 adieu by reviewing the top 10 recipes published this year. I can now declare 2014 The Year of the Smoothie – what a surprising discovery! The top posts this year were among my personal favorites, so let’s take a look shall we?
Coming in at number 10 was the Fig and Almond Butter Smoothie. This smoothie is my personal little darling, as you know how much I adore figs. It was one of those surprise recipes that came to me in a whim, and turned out to be creamy, decadent and a personal favorite. I’m so glad many of you agree!
Mini doughnuts! Nutella! How could anyone resist? These were so fun to make, and even more fun to eat.
Nutella does it again! I made this Braided Nutella Bread to celebrate my 4 Year Blog Anniversary.
Fish Tacos with Avocado-Cilantro Sauce became a summer staple for us this past year, and I can’t wait for the warm weather to return so we can get back to light summer eats like this one.
My favorite green smoothie gets a gorgeous makeover in this Blackberry Green Smoothie.
Another family favorite! I can’t tell you how many times we made this Seared Ahi Tuna with Chimichurri Sauce, Arugula and Avocado. I could top anything with chimichurri and be very content.
More smoothie love! And this one is another one of those keepers. If I’m not drinking my standby Mango Spinach Green Smoothie, I’m making this Carrot Mango and Kiwi Smoothie after my work out!
I made this one-pot wonder yet again just a couple of weeks ago – and I’m still not tired of it. All my favorite foods in one skillet!
You guys and your smoothies! This gem came courtesy of Julia of The Roasted Root from her cookbook, Delicious Probiotic Drinks. This was one of my favorites when I reviewed her book, and I daresay, it was one of yours, too!
And last but certainly not least, the number one recipe for 2014 were these buttery, tender Savory Scones with Gruyere, Prosciutto and Green Onion. You guys, I couldn’t agree more. This was one of my most favorite savory thing to bake this year, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
This year wouldn’t be complete without me saying a heartfelt thank you for all your visits! THANK YOU for cooking with me and making it such a delicious year! Here’s to an even better 2015!
